Myrtle and Bracken

Name: Myrtle and Bracken
Age: 11
Sex: female and male
Ref No: 31001039
Good with dogs: yes
Good with cats: yes
Good with Children: no
Breed: ESS
Status: available

Hi everyone! My name’s Bracken I’m on the left of the picture and my Auntie Myrtle is on the right. I’m a 10 year old springer boy my auntie Myrtle is 11. We’re looking for a home together as I’ve lived with her all my life. We’d really like a home with no young children or younger dogs. Our foster mum says my recall is excellent, I REALLY like biscuits. Myrtle’s recall is what our foster mum calls selective but she’s working on it. When we go out for a walk I wear a halti as I pull, I’m trying really hard to learn to walk nicely though. Myrtle walks beautifully on her lead. When we’ve been out for a walk we love to snuggle up beside you for a cuddle. The nice people we have met can’t believe our ages! We like to say hello to everyone we meet. We would like someone to be home with us most of the time, but we don’t mind being left for a wee while. I like to bring you a present when you come home. Sometimes a toy or a shoe. We sleep all night and don’t make a sound till morning. We live with a cat, our foster mum says she’s dog proof. She’s not very exciting so we just ignore her. Our foster mum says we’re happy, brilliant dogs. I am not going to argue! We still have a lot of love to give, and would love to give it to you. Could you give us our forever home?

Bobby

Age: 2
Sex: male
Ref No: 16001007
Good with dogs: no
Good with cats: yes
Good with Children: yes, older
Breed: Cocker
Status: available
Hello, My name is Bobby, I am a 2 year old Cocker. My foster mum says I have boundless energy at the moment, and can be quite boisterous. I love to be outside and exploring the outdoors. I do not not walk particularly well on a lead and pull very strongly, however I do walk better with a halti on. I have good re-call and I love to play – my favourite toy is a tuggy! I do not interact particularly well with other dogs, but my foster mum says this is probably due to lack of socialisation and I need to learn all about doggy etiquette. My mum says I am quick learner and with the right guidance I will be able to learn. I am crate trained, and sleep all night happily in my crate. At the moment I am quite anxious about being left on my own and I am used to somebody being around most of the time. I am a bright boy with lots potential and with the right training and guidance, I will make someone a loving dog, as I do love cuddles. I am looking for a very active home, to channel my energy, and someone with some experience to guide me on the right path. Could you offer me my forever home? For more details contact:

Harvey

photo of HarveyHi, my name is Harvey and I am a 5 year old liver and white springer boy. I am
looking for an experienced, quiet home with no children. I can be a bit nervous
meeting new people so I need someone who will continue the work to build up my
confidence. I have lived with another dog in foster care and we got on fine but
I am happier when I am on my own as I don’t have to share the cuddles.
Unfortunately I will chase farm livestock and also cats. I travel nicely in the
car as this usually means that we are going walking in nice places. I pull a bit
on the lead when I get excited but my foster Mum is working on this. I have good
recall and don’t like you out of my sight. I would prefer to have someone at
home most of the time but I can be left on my own for a couple of hours. Could
you be that special someone I am looking for, I hope so?

Lennon

Lennon27000630-3

Hi, my name is Lennon and I’m approximately nine years of age. I’m looking for a forever home where I can relax and enjoy comfort in my later years. I have been staying with my humans for a few months now and as much as I love spending time with my carers, I would be much happier sharing a couch with a new family. I would be best suited with someone who has experience of owning dogs as I have a few issues that need worked on. Read more…

Gypsy and Oscar

springers together

Gypsy and Oscar

Gypsy and Oscar are a bonded pair of almost 8-year-old Springers, more Mr and Mrs than brother and sister, who have been together since the age of 4 months and are to be re-homed together.
Gypsy is full of life and a determined little lady despite losing her front left leg at the age of 4 months after an unfortunate accident. She doesn’t want any pity just to be treated the same as any other dog, although she may tire quicker on 25% less running power. She is fully house trained, and walks close to heel, stay and has good recall.  Although excited in a new environment initially pulls but soon settles down. Read more…

Luke

Luke

Hi my name is Luke and I am 10 years young!  Ever since my owner passed away a few yeas ago –  I have found life to be quite difficult and I have never quite settled into family life as a result.  I have therefore needed a prolonged period to adjust to my new family life.  My foster mum says I do not look my age and I try not to act it however my body is beginning to tell me different –  I have arthritis in my back legs that causes me to limp however do not be fooled – I do not let this get in the way of me enjoying the smells of the great outdoors and enjoying my walks.  It certainly does not deter me from running up and down the stairs or jumping up to get lots of cuddles.  I walk very well on a slip lead – which my foster mum says is very impressive for a spaniel! Mac

Mac15000590This is Mac, a very lively 8 year old who just loves the water. When Mac came to us he had never been given any boundaries and as a result he had no patience and growled if he didn’t get his own way immediately. Mac has made great progress in foster care and is learning to sit and wait for his food and to get his lead on for walks, but he needs a very special home who will continue his training and be consistent in setting boundaries so that he develop his full potential. Mac is very interested in any sort of livestock so he would be better in an urban home Read more…
